High quality reproduction of an original pen drawing. Based upon a photo taken on one of my canal journeys, this shows the Horseshoe pub on the North Stratford canal on the outskirts of Birmingham. At one time the small bridge led into a short arm which was used to sell coal. If you look closely at the buildings along the canals you can see elements of their history still remain.
