The Engine Arm Aqueduct in Smethwick, built in 1825 by Thomas Telford. Based upon observational work, I wanted to capture the contrast between the old structure of cast iron, cobbles and the roving bridge, with the moden security fencing.
About the Artist
Louise Moore BA (Hons) Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University. She is a member of the Guild of Waterway Artists and the SAA. She is a Director of Harris Moore Canvases Ltd and Urban Moorings CIC, and a qualified Picture Framer. She has paintings in private and public collections across the UK.
