Living and Working on the Canals
Ali - Designer
Ali is a Mechanical engineer. She Loves to design stuff using CAD and loves making stuff with 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC. For 20 years she has lived and worked aboard Da Vinci - a narrowboat that she fitted out herself.
Lou - Artist
Lou is an artist who trained at Nottingham Trent Uni. She set up HM Canvases Ltd, supplying bespoke blank canvases to other artists. She loves to draw and paint. She has lived with Ali on Da Vinci for 20 years.
Mr Squash
Squash is 12 years old and has lived his whole life on a narrowboat. He is a Staffy - Ridgeback cross rescued as a pup. He loves to play ball, eat treats and destroy soft toys
Harvey
Harvey is 10 years old and has lived most of his life on a narrowboat. He was badly treated and rescued at 2 years old. He loves fusses and treats. Enjoys playing Viking and going on food raids on other people's boats!
